Hi, WebAuthor here. It was a dream of mine for a quite a while but now I have created this new and exciting feature on our website. It’s a TV station called GBC WEB TV and it’s only available on our website.

Just type gbcweb.tv into your web browser (or click the “GBC WEB TV” menu button on the left) and you will go straight to the GBC WEB TV page - this was formally the “Bible Teaching” page.

OK, it still contains probably the most excellent and God-inspired bible teaching videos in the world but added to this is a growing library of other Christian videos.

Recently added is Pastor David Wise’s daughter Naomi’s first ever public preaching experience where she talks about her moving and sometimes shocking ministry experiences in India and about the Armour of God. Contains good use of on-screen PowerPoint and also movie clip of a class of recently converted school children praising Jesus. As a contrasting to this , on the same page is a three minute video that I found on You Tube about the Armor of God.

We also present Roger Davin - main speaker at the August 2007 Spirit Connect event held the GBC building. Roger talks about “JUICED – A Fresh Twist On The Holy Spirit”. Insightful and creative doesn’t fully describe Roger’s talk…. and his amazing use of PowerPoint by itself will be an inspiration to all who have to use this presentation software (or have to sit through other people’s long business-related PowerPoint presentations).

For Community Members only (only once you have logged in) there is the “Church Membership” video series. These are eight fascinating (and mainly short) information sessions about how Baptists came into being, how our history affects us now and the various aspects of what it means to be a Member of Greenford Baptist Church.

If you have any ideas for shooting Christian based videos or would like to join a small GBC WEB TV team making them (creating ideas, scripting, acting, feeding, presenting, praying, producing, directing or the technical production) please let me know?

If you come across any suitable video clips or longer productions (perhaps on Google Video or You Tube etc) please also let me know.
