If you are anything like me — computers are relatively unfamiliar. Perhaps you have some years of computer experience? Either way, leaving positive comments on the Church website is not only easy and fun but also helpful to old and new visitors alike.
Why helpful, I hear hear you cry!!
Well just think — we Christians want to spread the word of Christ and want all who visit our Church website see how our world has changed with Christ in it. So, let your fingers do the walking on the keyboard and tell everyone what you think of the articles and videos you are reading and viewing.
You might find you have helped someone along the way in their walk with Christ or indeed, inspired someone else to press the little grey "Tell A Friend" button at the top of each web page. This button allows you to email up to three friends at a time - sending them a link to the page so they can find out what Christ can do in their life.
Hey, isn't it worth doing this for someone who wants more LIFE out of life! Don"t just plant the seed, share it with them by clicking the "Tell A Friend" button.

Please would the singers practise this song "So You Would Know" – by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir – as we are going to be performing it during one of the morning worship meetings soon.
The main part of the group will not be singing the words in brackets. To print, click the Print button to the right.
Right click and Save Target As... here to download the mp3 file to your computer.

Barnabas (we never close – except for Bank Holidays) is held weekly at Andy and Lynda Wilson's home.
We are doing Barnabas in a user-friendly way these days – we are sharing the week’s news etc and having a “connection” time from 7.45pm to 8.15pm each Monday. People can collect their tea/coffee/water from the kitchen during this time.

The Hudson family only returned from the hospital on Wed 5 March - a couple of days late due to our baby Sarah-Rose's jaundice. This has almost disappeared now.
The community midwives' visits have been really helpful, especially as this is a new experience for us. It is taking a little time to adjust to the Sarah-Rose's feeds and the rests Noemi needs to get in-between - and the new activities that we are being confronted with. I am now at home for a while so that I can support Noemi in full "Dad" capacity.
Sarah Rose is turning our lives up-side down but we wouldn't have it any other way.....even with the sleepless nights and crying - it's all worth it!
Sarah Rose was born on a very special day - 29th February, so she will only have a birthday every four years.
We want to say thanks for all the cards, gifts and prayers from those at our house group Barnabas and from other church members at Greenford Baptist and CCL (Noemi's Brazilian Church).
If anyone out there feels that perhaps God is not hearing or listening to your cries or prayers just take a moment to see what he has done for us in producing such a special child after all this time (eight years).
God is Good all the time!

Sarah Rose will have one birthday every four years !! so she is a very special little girl.
We all thank God for this miracle baby.
You can also leave your congratulations etc. for Tony and Noemi in the Comments box below. If you are a Community Member please log in first.

OK, so the following quote is not original but applied to our website and to some of the great technology around the Church, it is very true:
At Greenford Baptist Church we believe in using timely technology to teach the timeless truth.
My thanks to Mister Robertson for the quote.

It was always my ambition to be a writer. It outlasted my other ambitions (ballerina, dairy farmer) and other careers - carer for young disabled, social worker, optician's assistant, secretary, and PR executive.
I've written stories ever since I could write. My first novel was 100 pages long, written in biro in a couple of exercise books, at the age of 13, and only my sister was allowed to read it.
By my twenties, I was seriously writing a book. I'd heard how difficult it was to get published, and how you should never send the whole manuscript, only a couple of chapters as a taster. So I was caught out when, having sent three chapters of my first adult novel to Penguin books, an editor wrote back and asked to see the rest of it. I had to ask her to wait six months because I hadn't written it yet!

I have just come across an excellent (and totally free) spelling checker that adds on to Windows Internet Explorer.
This is ideal for writing in the blog section of our website—or any other section for that matter.
This add-on is good for entering text in all on-line forms, including job application forms.
Just go to http://www.iespell.com/ and download it and follow the simple instructions for installing and configuring it.
I love having a spell checker on my web browser, speaking as one who is very dependant on a good spell checker—if you know what I mean!
