Barnabas is a discipleship group led by Andy and Lynda Wilson and is open to all. The major focus is on prayer and ministry, studying the bible, applying what has been learnt to our lives and encouraging one another.

We meet each Monday in Verulam Road, Greenford at 7.45pm (apart from public holidays) and you will be made to feel very welcome, even if you are only available sometimes. Come and see if this discipleship group is where God wants you to be.

What's the group like?

Barnabas means "Son of encouragement", which really describes the heart of this discipleship group.

There are between 8 and 14 people coming along each week and we love to welcome new friends. If you find this is the discipleship group for you then you are welcome to become part of us.

When the weather is really hot, we meet in the cool of the back garden around the goldfish pond - with the sound of trickling water from the fountain.

The programme

From 7.45pm to 8.15pm we enjoy good social time together with tea and coffee, sharing personal and family news, giving testimonies about what God has been doing in our lives since we last met and sharing any difficulties for prayer during the final part of the evening.

At around 8.15 we start the interactive bible study, on a topic that has been chosen by the group.

After the bible study at around 9.30 we have a time of prayer and ministry which can sometimes be quite powerful and prophetic.

We close at around 10.00pm and car rides home are usually arranged for those without transport.

If you would like more details please speak with Andy or Lynda Wilson.
