Greenford Baptist Church email addresses are available free of charge to people who are part of—or associated with—Greenford Baptist Church.

They are available in two forms:

  1. If you already have an account with an email provider and wish to keep it, you can request a free GBC email redirect address. Emails sent to your GBC email address will be automatically redirected to your regular home or business email address. If you have recently become a GBC Church Member this will be done automatically—if you have supplied an email address on your Church Membership Details form.
  2. If you don't have an email account or would like to change the one you have you can request a free GBC pop3 email box, for use with Microsoft Outlook etc.

Please print this page for your future reference—click the pinter icon near the upper right corner if this window.

NOTES

  • You can look part of an impressive corporate organisation (Greenford Baptist Church) when sending emails to business associates, colleagues, friends and family. How would you like to have your email address in the following format—fred.bloggs@ gbc.org.uk rather than fred.bloggs1439@ yahoo.co.uk Why promote your commercial email provider's name when you could be promoting God's kingdom?
  • Church email addresses are used to give corporate identity and to make it easy for others in the Church to remember your email address.
  • Please don't use your church email address for subscribing to email lists, registering with or communicating with commercial organisations. This is beacuse you may have to deal with hundreds of unwanted commercial mails (spam) and emails with attached viruses.
  • Please let WebAuthor know if you ever change your email address and he will promptly amend your redirection. This system is time and effort saving for you because you only have to tell one WebAuthor, instead of the many people you send emails to.
  • Any emails sent to an incorrectly spelled GBC address will be automatically deleted, this stops a lot of spam and virus infected emails.
  • Emails are not a secure method of communicating as they are capable of being read by unintended third parties, including the security services. Be careful not to email anything that would compromise your or another person's confidentiality or safety.
  • Using your Church email address helps you to witness to people. At the bottom of your outgoing emails, as part of your email signature, you may like to include a strap line giving the Church web address and a suitable Christian witness message, such as:
