When I'm looking at You I'm content.
If its men that I see, I resent.
It's Your joy that sustains
And Your wisdom explains
All the trouble that demons foment.
What a marvelous Savior You are!
Some have said You're the Bright Morning Star,
Burning bright up above
You're the Son of His love.
I would know You up close, not afar!
And the day of Your coming's quite near.
There are many who live in great fear.
But Your presence protects
From the evil effects
Of Your soon coming judgment, that's clear!
By Your grace and Your presence this hour
You'll sustain those You love with Your pow'r.
By the end of "the day"
We'll see clearly Your way
Will allow us to stand and not cower.
In the presence of those who would kill
We will stand by Your grace and be still
As Your love we confess,
Seeking naught but to bless,
We'll be hidden by Your mighty will.
All the demons of hell will not find
Those at home with Your presence and mind.
Looking hard as they will
They can look further still
Those who love and obey they'll not find!
