You have embraced the Book of the Lord,
But you haven't the Lord of the Book.
And soon, in the days of great shaking,
Know it's I who will never be shook.

You have placed My Book far above Me.
And you say it is I that you know.
Knowing My Book is not knowing Me.
In the days just ahead, it will show.

My Book in these next days won't feed you
In My Presence find manna for Life
And My Living Word won't impede you.
It will both direct and guide you through strife!

You say that you know Me through My Word.
Through My tears, you must hear what I say:
My voice is still, soft, not untoward
For those willing to listen each day!

Alone in your closet you'll find me
And the sweetest of times there will be
Away from all those who profess me
Alone we'll have sweet intimacy.

Intimacy and relationship
To call upon on Me as Beloved
In these days it is not "Christ in me",
Are you hidden in Him, beloved?
