Greenford Baptist Church's longest running discipleship group, Barnabas, invites the whole church and friends to a social event at Black Park, Sunday lunchtime on 13 August. It’s a time to relax and enjoy the company of your church family and will include a bring-your-own picnic lunch. Black Park is set within 530 acres of attractive woodland, grassland and heathland with a centre-piece lake. As well as enjoying each other's company there are many recreational opportunities: waterside and woodland walks, a lakeside cafe and a children's woodland play area. There are public toilets and a chargeable car park. TransportTransport will be by car-share so if you have one please bring it and offer a lift. Our convoy of cars will be leaving the church building immediately after the Sunday morning meeting. If you are not confident about following the convoy, printed maps are available from Lynda Wilson. You can also view an on-line map here - our destination is the blue letter P (the car park). DirectionsFrom Junction 1 on M40 take A412 Denham Road towards Slough, go across the mini roundabout into A412 Church Road, turn right off the Crooked Billet (Public House) roundabout onto the A412 Uxbridge Road dual carriageway. Turn right off the A412 along Black Park Road Wexham, Bucks SL3 6DR and right into the car park in Queens Drive. If you get lost or can't find us once you arrive please phone Andy Wilson's mobile (number in the Church Member's List).
