I'm delighted to be attending our daughter Sami's wedding today - she is getting married to Dean in a few hours. I have got my father-of-the-bride speech all ready (isn't the Internet a wonderful research tool) and my camera packed to record the happy occasion. Sami, like her sister Laura, used to attend GBC and were in the Girl's Brigade and were part of the Youth Group when Pete Shears was youth pastor. Do please say a prayer every now and again for both our daughters - Sami and Laura - and their respective husbands Dean and John. Well, I wrote that yesterday. Today asI look back at the wedding, In think about the reception, the speeches (which all went very well indeed) and the lovely families and friends. The whole day was like a like a story-book wedding and I give glory to God - who is the creater and perfector of all things.
