Introduction

We continue this seasonal series by looking at some events that took place about a month after Jesus was born
-
We see the ordinary suddenly transformed by the intervention of people who were listening to God
Jesus' Presentation (v 21-24)
Simeon (v 25-35)

Simeon was an ordinary person who had given his life totally over to serving God
-
He was guided by the Spirit to be in the right place at the right time Simeon (v 25-35)
-
Simeon saw that Jesus was salvation for ALL people
-
People will be either exalted or humbled depending on their response to God's salvation
Anna (v 36-40)
