1)    Minutes of  5th October 08

2)    Matters Arising:
  • None that are not elsewhere on the agenda
3)    Membership  and Annual Membership Review

4)    Family News

5)    New GBC Trust Deed and Constitution

  • Because of changes to the Charity Laws we need to adopt a new constitution and trust deed. These documents will be tabled at this meeting. There will be a Special Members’ Meeting on Feb1st 09 to make a decision.
6)    Appointments
  • We will be considering the appointment of Carleen Donaldson-Hall and Rangena Tilkaran to the Leadership Team.
  • We will be considering the appointment of Wayne Halliburton and Akin Adenubi to the Churches Premises Management Team.
  • We will be considering the re-appointment of Warren McNeil, Andy Crame, Chris O’Connor and Frank Cadman to the Churches Premises Management Team.
  • We will be considering the following annual appointments;
  1. Youth Advocates; Rangena Tilkaran and Tony Hudson
  2. Mission Co-ordinator; Denzil Jarvis
  3. Auditor; Barrington Hall

7)    Opportunity to ask for items to be added to the agenda (at the Chairman’s discretion)

8)    Video Projection and Sound System

  • The numbers attending worship on Sunday have increased considerably over the last year; consequently we need to consider making some improvements to our equipment especially to improve sound and visibility in the Browning Hall. At this meeting we will be outlining a possible way forward with the costs and how we might meet them.
9)    Safe To Grow
  • We will be holding our annual review of the Safe to Grow Policy.

10)    Christmas and New Year Events

  • There will be details of and prayer for our various planned events.

11)    Date of next meeting is February 1st following a Special Members’ Meeting.

As usual we will be spending time in prayer at various points during the meeting.
