Meetings Week Commencing Sunday 27 July 2008

  • Sunday 27th July at 10.00am.The meeting will be led by Denzil Jarvis and Joan Maple will be speaking.

  • Sunday 27th 6.30pm. Men Behaving Godly, our monthly discipleship group for men meets at the church building.

  • Tuesday 29th from 7.00 to 7.45am. An opportunity to meet at the church building for prayer.

  • Thursday 31st from 7.00 to 7.45am. An opportunity to meet at the church building for prayer.

  • Sunday 3rd August at 10.00am.The meeting will be led by Warren McNeil and David Wise will be speaking.

  • Sunday 3rd 1.15pm. Church members' meeting, agendas available on our website or from the church office.

Ealing Baptist Churches Prayer Requests

South Hanwell ask for prayer for their Youth & Children’s Pastor selection committee to select the right candidate and for their outreach in Elthorne Park. Acton ask for prayer for the evangelism group, Turning Point who is working with them and for their youth who have recently completed an Alpha course. Haven Green ask for prayer for their pastor Carl and his family as he returns to work and for the future focus of his work with them. Northolt Park ask us to pray for their planning team for their 50th anniversary celebrations in September.

Outcome Of The Extra Members' Meeting 

We are pleased to report that Warren was appointed as ‘pastor’s assistant’ for a two-year period, he will be commencing his role in late September.

David Wise 

David is preaching at Haven Green Baptist (Ealing) on Sunday 27th, and is then chairing a special members’ meeting at Northolt Park Baptist which is considering calling Charmaine Howard to become its new pastor. Please pray for him.

Live-In Nanny/Au Pair Available

A Christian young woman known personally by David Wise from a Ghanaian church in Italy is looking for a placement as a live-in nanny, preferably in this area so she can attend GBC. She is fluent in Italian, one of the Ghanaian languages and is wanting to come to the UK to improve her English. Please contact David Wise if you would like more information.
