As we celebrate Christmas this year the world is in a complete mess. There is darkness on all sides. But in the Christmas message there is a message of incredible hope. The light of Christ still shines and, as St John put it, the darkness has never been able to put it out. The Christmas celebrations will soon pass, but the light of Christ will continue to shine.

I pray that you and your family will experience the light of Christ throughout these days, and as you enter into the challenges and opportunities of the New Year.
