At 12 noon on Good Friday 2 April we will be erecting a Cross on the top of the spiral hill at Northala Fields—remembering what Christ did for us 2000 years ago. We will be doing this with at least nine other local churches. Last year around 300 people met with us for this event. |
The Greenford Baptist Church leg of the procession will be leaving the church building in Beechwood Avenue at one of the following times: 10.30am and 11.15am.
The 10.30am GBC departure group will be stopping along the way to celebrate with St. Hughes Church in Kensington Road at 10.45am. This meeting is about "Being there with Him - opportunities for reflection".
The 11.15am GBC departure group will join with the 10.30am departure group outside St Hughes Church, at the end of the meeting at 11.30am.
At 11.30am both Greenford Baptist Church departure groups and St Hughes will leave the St Hughes church building and continue along the way to arrive at Northala Fields for a time of open-air public worship with all the other churches in the Soul In Northolt and Greenford (SING) group at 12 noon. Everybody is welcome to worship with us at Northala Fields.
If you haven't been there before, the hill we are going up has a nice gentle spiral path, however it can get quite windy up there so do wrap up warmly! Northala Fields is located next to the A40 by the Target roundabout.
